LocalLink.net ISP sold

Since 1998, LocalLink has been providing Internet access across Michigan, the midwest, and nationally. We originally started out with Dialup serving a small number of under-served communities. In many cases we were the first commercial Internet access available - walking thousands of people through the process of connecting to the Internet and putting it to use.

Over the years we added more cities and states and also began to provide high speed service, wireless, and satellite Internet. While the technology may have changed our efforts to provide the best possible experience did not. Many clients would stop in regularly for quick tips, a little help, or just a social call and to drop off a batch of homemade cookies. (We will miss the cookies!)

The sale of LocalLink.net was not something approached lightly. However it was decided that we would focus our efforts on the Internet services field and exit the access provider business.
